Preview Of Upcoming Springsteen Community Conference

On October 13 at 4pm, E Street Radio will be broadcasting the latest Springsteen Community Conference that I co-hosted with my good friend John Franck. Titled, "The Ties That Bind: Springsteen and the Next Generation," it's a great exploration of Springsteen's influence on a new generation of musicians.

Our guests for this include Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), Pete Yorn and drummer Jay Weinberg. It's a killer show, with some great, informative and often hilarious anecdotes, much like the one below. If you're a Bruce fan, you won't want to miss this!

Ben,

great community show this month, especially made me a fan of Tom Morello as a person. A lot of great anecdotes. Would love to hear a community conference that takes place in Cleveland before the close of the exhibit that talks about how Bruce has helped out the music industry and speaks to his loyalty to those from his past.

In addition, you likely heard Mike Appel guest DJ, he was very compelling, would be interesting to have him on the community conference to discuss the early years and when/how people figured out Bruce was the real deal.

Nice job,

RC

Can you please make the .mp3 for this show available for download like the last few SCC shows?

Keep up the good work!

(Hopefully this show didn't have anything quite as stupid as Dave Marsh saying Queen of the Supermarket is one Bruce's 6 best songs ever.)

Matching some movie critics Cheap UGG Boots, the year 2010 is a good year just for Hollywood's chicas. Most of peliculas with a woman for the principal role have shown a character without all charm or femininity. It seems that chicas's image has grown rude or weird in most cases. The chicas that happen to be nominated for the Golden Globe are cases to explain this problem like "Rabbit Hole" where Nicole Kidman seems as if a sad mother that has a terrible and cold temperament; another example is "Frankie and Alice" where Halle Berry plays the role of an crazy person who is totally exaggerated; there is also "Black Swam" in which Natalie Portman played a crazy woman by having an annoying and rigid design and style moncler jackets, her look also was first terrible. We have to speak about the role of Michelle Williams around "Blue Valentine" where your lover plays a spoiled gal; the character is at the same time predictable Cheap UGG Boots, it only shows someone who gets pregnant Discount UGG Boots, gets married and can get divorced tory bruch, so boring ghd hair straighteners! This is not offering anything new to the public. Where is the charming and femininity in that roles? Why the famous chicas from Hollywood have lost all her attractiveness in that way? It's true that passionate and colorful peliculas which usually show an adorable female character aren't all in the movie's business swarovski crystal, however UGG Sale, it's also true that a time ago actresses used to look like beautiful and alluring people and public dearly loved them.
